Architectural Garden Design

The clients who owned this very modern, stylish and contemporary home wanted a garden to compliment the architecture within their home. The garden was designed using existing dimensions within the house, and extracted in the form of the Garden Room and Floating Bridge.

Organic curves were built into the design to compliment the curved roof line of the building.
A major part of the brief was to have a child friendly space, so a trampoline was sunken in to the ground and a tree house erected.

...Other featurs include a fire pit, sunken lighting within the lawn, a huge Gabbion wall, a growing area, including a mini poly tunnel and compost bins. There are also raised steel beds to contain the planting. The garden room was constructed from galvanized I beam, with a new sleeper floor. Sail cloth was stretched between the frame to provide shade and privacy.
